Frequently asked questions

·         Are there other activities directly related to NASSAM 2027 not shown here?  Nope, this is it.  Obviously, folks are welcome to wander off to parts unknown such as restaurants, casinos, etc.

·         How do I know I’m registered?  You will receive an email from the NASSAM 2027 website, and you will receive a payment receipt also.  If you happened to lose track of those emails you may always visit the NASSAM 2027 website, click on the line to “Who’s Going?” and look for your name.  We will post first name/first letter of last name and the state. You should be able to find yourself. We are also listing items you’ve ordered and the tours you’ve chosen.

·         What are the costs for things like hotel, registration etc.?  Please refer to “The Basics” page for this information.

·         Are there other hotel options?  Yes, there are several hotels within close distance of the Oxford.  If you choose NOT to stay at the host hotel or our block of rooms fills up, we’ll leave it to you to make your own arrangements.  If we sell out 75 rooms, we will help folks with arrangements as best we can.  There is a Double Tree just across US-101.  Just one exit south there are Home2Suites and Hampton Inn.  Other less expensive options are also available.

·         Is there an RV Park nearby?  There are a few including San Francisco North/Petaluma KOA (approx. 10 miles south).  Also, the Wine Country RV Park in Rohnert Park/Cotati, which offers full hookups and easy access to Sonoma wineries. Other nearby options include Windsor RV Park to the north and Spring Lake Regional Park for nature lovers.  We’ll leave it to RVers to choose, there is a KOA that is close.

·         Is breakfast included?  Yes, it is one of the hotel amenities.  An evening Oxford Social (complimentary drinks and appetizers) is also included.

·         How many people do you think would attend?  We've asked the hotel to block out 75 rooms which they will hold until approx. 60 days prior to the event.  Maybe 75 cars and 135 people.

·         Will Vendors be attending?  Possibly.  Vendor support for the Kappa-platforms has fallen off in recent years.  Additionally, there are some restrictions from the State of California that make setting up shop difficult.

·         How long are the tours?  They vary in length.  See the tour descriptions for distance, driving time and total time.

·         Where are the nearest laundry facilities? There is guest laundry room at the hotel.

·         Where is the nearest fuel?  Very close.  There are Shell and 76 stations within visual distance of the hotel.  There is a Chevron just under the US-101 overpass.

·         Where is the nearest car wash?  Unfortunately, California environmental restrictions made setting up a hotel car wash to expensive.  The Rohnert Park Car Wash is just a short drive at 200 Classic Ct, Rohnert Park, CA.

·         Is there trailer parking?  Yes, trailers check at the registration desk and you will be directed.

·         Will the auction be online?  No, we simply don’t have the resources (read that volunteers and expertise) to pursue that.
